Wow, the first few weeks of working for myself, contracting to two large and 1 small company, is over. Talk about tired.

- Haven't been arsed with IPOs since 1999, when my stock was meant to be worth £4 million. Loss at that scale puts you off for life 2 hrs ago
- Chunk has been redirected back to the Den, cats have been shooed off. We're safe for now, but the boys know about 'Rodent Buffet' breakfast 2 hrs ago
- The hamster, Chunk, was put into his ball for cage cleaning, then immediately escaped into 'General Population'. Cats now staking him out 3 hrs ago
- Watching Mr Beckham setting fire to things. I could do that 4 hrs ago
- So who does Moody's credit rating? 12 hrs ago
- Not feeling healthier, wealthier or wiser. Almost sprayed eye drops up my nose. Foretaste of the day to come. 18 hrs ago

Thanks all for the comments. I haven’t been around much recently – far too busy with work alas, but it needs to be done, if only to pay for my new lens!
Scribner – basic error. I was running late for a meeting and just stopped the car after spotting this, fired off 5 shots of the scene, then realised later that I’d messed up the ISO. Maybe I’ll try again with proper settings when I get back down that road again. Well spotted!

HI Jonny – Yep, back in Bracknell, but as ‘myself’ now. Third time lucky? I’m still working with the other company, plus two smaller ones. so it’s extremely busy but quite fun. I just need to get paid by someone now!
