Hello, just saw your cheers to Eugene, I agree with your question, a very difficult one to answer. And to see the photo of him so smiling, it seems too unbelievable. Just hope he is in a happier place. I went out with Eugene for 5 years, we met in Paris and lived together in Norwood Green for a few years before I returned to France. Hi Mandy – thanks for stopping by here. I’m glad to hear from you and to know that you knew Eugene as the same kind of happy go lucky guy I remember. Like me, he had his moments I’m sure, but I’ve never met such an upbeat guy as Mr. E. and for that I thank him. Tonight, I’m having a beer and thinking of him. Cheers Eugene!
Yes, he always was a cheery chappy wasn’t he. I guess you worked together. Funny just a few days after it happened just when I turned on the radio there was a song called “hey eugene” – you ever heard a song with his name in before?? not me! Anyway the chorus is “I said hello Eugene, are you there Eugene” so that was kind of weird as it is quite an unusual name and maybe we are all wondering where he is exactly. If you want to look it up it is a group called Pink Martini. Anyway, for me it was kind of appropriate that day. The photo you posted is great. Eugene is a University chum of mine – I am just trying to get in touch with him – I had his email address then lost it when I moved email accounts a few years ago.
I dont know what has happened – but it does not sound good – could you send an email please about how I can contact Eugene… or let me know what has happened…
