Spring is springing..

So we lose an hour of the day. Good to see the cheap, almost-dead maple tree we bought last year is reviving.

The problem with public networks…

..is that there can be too many people on them with you. Take a look at this hotel network – spot the CCTV servers ripe for messing around with.

Too many servers..

Those PCs starting with Ezcctv are the CCTV control computers for the hotel I’m staying in. Not to mention that the ‘office’ server here has publically writeable shares viewable by all guests in the hotel. It’s surprisingly It was surprisingly empty :)
