Who should I vote for?

According to this site, I should be a LibDem voter

Who should I vote for?

Your expected outcome:

Liberal Democrat

Your actual outcome:

Labour -20
Conservative -6
Liberal Democrat 15
UK Independence Party 0
Green 11

You should vote: Liberal Democrat

The LibDems take a strong stand against tax cuts and a strong one in favour of public services: they would make long-term residential care for the elderly free across the UK, and scrap university tuition fees. They are in favour of a ban on smoking in public places, but would relax laws on cannabis. They propose to change vehicle taxation to be based on usage rather than ownership.

Close I suppose. I’m glad to see that I don’t fall into the NuLab camp, not the Tory one either. Maybe I’m just a fence sitter?

Mine went: UKIP, Green, Tory, Lib Dem, but not at all LAbour, whom I’d intended voting for. And I’ve read the damn policies. I was horrified.

    Hi VJC
I’m so disillusioned with them all I don’t know if I’ll even vote this time. There’s not much to excite me, no Labour candidate to knock on my door and receive a good kicking, no independant willing to take me on over the pound in my own porch. The local Tory is makeing lots of noise, while the incumbent LibDem is getting older and older looking and has yet to form an opinion. :(

If someone came around and told me of a party that would give middle income taxpayers with two kids (both male) an extra £3000 in tax relief, I’d vote for them. Since it won’t happen, I just expect that I’ll carry on shelling out shitloads of cash to fund this cycles empty election promises.

    Pissed off Pete
