Still, with donations he must be pulling in $2500 a week at least, all in the name of promoting hatred. Even though I'm a wee bit jealous of the income, he's paying a pretty high price. I normally have to leave LGF alone for a few days since the non-stop hatred makes me feel dirty. Imagine being immersed in that all day long, every day? Not good for your mental health. The “premium” ads cost $750/week (a bit less on a monthly or [ha!] yearly basis), and the other cost $250. One premium ad plus 5 non-premium ads comes to $2000/week — not bad for a site that consists of one-liners, lengthy pull-quotes, and comments. And that’s not even counting donations.

CJ will never reveal how much he rakes in in donations — glasnost is for other people — but he’s clearly pulling down six figures. And he has the nerve to call all those other ink-stained wretches — whose work actually has to be, you know, good — the “élite.”

But as you say, he does pay a pretty high price. Even if he wanted to, he couldn’t possibly pull another post-9/11 style flip-flop, because then the purveyors of Christian T-shirts and “politically incorrect” tai-chi programs and Iraqi dinars would abandon him.
