I saw a post on boingboing.net that referred to a guy that touches up pictures for publication in many and varied magazines. I’d never realised just how much these pictures were doctored until I saw this. At this rate, even I’d look good.

Amazing! makes you realise how false a lot of the images are we see about you.
It’s also a constant slight worry to me that thjis type of impossible-looking woman is what men are presented with all the time, and so the real,life ones aren’t going to match up. That’s one advantage of getting older I think – attraction becomes more based on things other than the physical. That’s got to be there, but its relative importance goes down a bit.
Which is a good job, seeing how I look in the morning.
Pete — here’s the actual lie that was posted on Little Green Footballs. For a blog that takes it’s reason for being from 9/11 it’s just astonishing that one of the most prolific posters there would tell such a bald-faced lie. Even more astonishing is that all the other ‘lizards’ would give him (‘realwest’) a pass. Just to be clear: there is only one fatality age 79 listed at the WTC and it is not ‘realwests’ father.

My Dad, who was 79 at the time, just happened to be there when the rescue workers were running into the ruins, so he started to go in to help what everyone believed were still living people. A Port Authority P.O. tried to keep him out saying he was too old and would only get in the way.
Then the Port Authority cop turned back to business and my Dad rushed in. They never found him. Or his body. One of my Dad’s friends was with him and told us the story. It’s why I can’t look at the 9/11 photos anymore.

Hi Cliff, It’s pretty revealing just how much distortion is put on the picture in Women’s magazines – the other archive that boingboing linked to was even worse. They removed so much of the natural features of women’s bodies that they were just paintings, albeit with a good foundation.

Yes, he is a sad figure. But he’s not the story — the story is the coverup at LGF.
Anyone but one of the ‘inner circle’ and they’d have been all over a faker.
Now, with the split between DL and LGL the Iron Fist crowd are going to be even more obnoxious.
It will complete the transformation of LGF into Freeperland2 ‘Revenge Of the Wannabe Soldiers’.
