Neither time nor inclination…bye bye.

UPDATE: 27/6/04.

May have been a bit hasty, down and hacked off. I’ll see how we get on this week….

I may have a change of heart – unlikely, but stranger things have happened. I start off with good intentions, but I have a dreadful problem with just getting things done – at work and at home. I keep meaning to blog things that I find interesting, just for myself to remember but as per usual I forget/get sidetracked/can’t be arsed as it loses it’s appeal and there you go. Another wasteland on the web.

I’ll try harder as part of my new ‘get your fucking act together pete’ initive. Expect this to splutter to a halt by about Thursday, followed by the deletion of the whole site :)

Shame. I liked reading it. It was interesting to read more about someone’s life than a tirade on usenet, y’see. :o )

Ouch! That stung – and there’s me looking at usenet more and more these days, itching to post a reply to madfan’s trollery. At least I haven’t risen to that (this time).

I just don’t know about this weblogging lark – I have the problem that I don’t know who I was aiming the blog at – me or other people. Writing things for myself or for selected readers is one thing, but the realisation that everything written was being Googlebotted for eternity 3 or 4 times a day sort of stilted me. I’ve got a shitload to post, which I might just do (Looby and his kids, work, my kids, cost of living etc.) Surely this is boring crap to outsiders?

Maybe I’ll just blog for myself and see how it gets on…..
