I’ve never used a disabled space, but if I drive to the all night Tesco’s after 11pm, I always use one of the ‘family spaces’ nearer the brightly lit entrances. I figure any decent family won’t be carrying their kids into the store at that time of night.

There was a letter in Viz a while back, saying that if parents are fit enough to do the whole shagging, gestation, birthing thing they they’re obviously fit enough to walk a few extra yards. Good logic really. The disabled bay thing gets on my wick though – Jude’s Dad was registered disabled and and times had terrible problems getting about. Seeing some lard arse with a beer gut nicking ‘his’ space would drive her mad, but at least she had the balls to have a go at the offender..

I can’t see myself at Homebase doing the full-on Bronson-style hard-man. Couldn’t grow the required moustache for a start…

As for Viz, I mainly buy it for the pictures, just to show the little lad.
